Keanu Reeves is doing an independently financed rom-com which Variety says is “Capraesque “. I’m guessing it’s Capraesque in much the same way his last movie was Day-the-Earth-Stood-Still-esque. In other words, not at all.
It’s called Henry’s Crime and Reeves will star as a bighearted man falsely accused of robbing a bank in Buffalo, New York. Keanu will also producing, ensuring that this will absolutely be another quality Keanu Reeves project. Malcolm Venville, who will hopefully have better sense than to call his work Capraesque, is directing.
