John Cusack might be eager to get involved in Zack Snyder’s upcoming movie adaptation of Watchmen, but it looks like Keanu Reeves wants nothing to do with it.
For the past couple of weeks, rumors about the possibility of Keanu’s potential involvement in the film have been flying, and it turns out that all those rumors Watchmen were true… sort of. Fan site Club-Keanu claims to have contacted Reeves’ manager, who told them that Keanu was indeed offered a part in the movie. Which part it was, they’re not saying. It doesn’t matter anyway since Keanu’s manager confirms not only that they were offered it, but that they’ve already turned the part down.
So put that rumor to bed. Keanu Reeves wants nothing to do with Watchmen. He would have worked great as Dr. Manhattan, but apparently he disagrees. Now let’s see if we can get those Jude Law rumors sorted out. He’d be perfect for Ozymandias.
