Keira Knightley Replaces Marion Cotillard In Cronenberg's Cosmopolis?
When it was announced a few weeks ago that Robert Pattinson and Marion Cotillard would star in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis, things were looking quite good for the long gestating film, but something has come up that has thrown a wrench in the gears. With Cotillard gestating a parasite in her womb and Pattinson deep in the throws of vampire lust, this bit of recasting news should come as no surprise.
According to the ultra reliable Ministry of Gossip (and since confirmed by The Playlist), Cotillard’s recently announced pregnancy will take her off the table for the role as RPattz's wife in the Cronenberg flick. Now the rumor is that too-skinny-for-her-own-good Keira Knightley has swooped in to replace her. Knightley just wrapped another film with Cronenberg, A Dangerous Method, so it takes no stretch of the imagination to see them continue working together.
The Knightly casting has not be confirmed as of yet so there’s still a lot of question marks, but expect to hear more about this soon.
