There will be a lot of big-budget, heavily promoted movies showing their stuff at Comic Con, but there will also be an alternative. Slashfilm is reporting that the first footage from Kick-Ass will premiere in San Diego at the end of the month, and they've also got a new image to go along with it, of Chloe Moretz in costume as Hit Girl.

Kick-Ass, based on the comic book by Matthew Vaughn, is about a New York kid who takes it upon himself to become a real-life superhero. Aaron Johnson is starring as the kid, with Nicolas Cage, Mark Strong and Christopher Mintz-Plasse all in supporting roles. Check out a larger version of the Hit Girl photo below at Slashfilm.
