The first trailer for Killer Elite has arrived and it’s kind of like if Jason Statham had made The Expendables with a bunch of good actors. Starring opposite Statham are Robert De Niro, Clive Owen, and Dominic Purcell. Starring in a rather nice pair of underwater bikini bottoms is Chuck’s Yvonne Strahovski.

The movie is a remake of the 1975 film, The Killer Elite. That movie starred the likes of James Caan and Robert Duvall. De Niro and Owen? Alright, close enough. This new version stars Statham a British Special Forces soldier forced out of retirement when his mentor is taken captive. To save him, he’ll have to face off against three assassins, lead by a creepily mustached Clive Owen.

If I hadn’t hit you with that pre-trailer plot synopsis, odds are that even after watching the teaser you’d still have no idea what Killer Elite is all about. What you do know, though, is that it features three badasses you like punching, stomping, shooting, and breaking things. In much the same way that I was all in for The Expendables, I’m all in for this. Bring it on.
