The Knocked Up outtakes and deleted scenes just keep coming. Previously we’ve shown you spoof sequences from the movie featuring other Apatow regulars in the lead role, theoretically before Seth Rogen got it. This time around the deleted scene seems like a genuine piece cut from the movie, however. Typically saved for DVD releases, it’s great to see Knocked Up getting more attention by using the internet to give a look at what we didn’t see in theaters.

This sequence features Rogen’s Ben being lectured to by his friends (played by Jason Segel, Jonah Hill, and Jay Baruchel) for knocking up Alison. They are confident she wants a piece of their website business, wants to have a child of the chosen people, etc. The scene plays out most of the myths about how a woman can’t get pregnant “if you do it when…” and also touches on the abortion debate with more of an actual debate than appears in the movie. As I said, it’s definitely more of a legitimate deleted sequence as opposed to the spoofs we saw before:
