Kung Fu Panda 2: It's On![]()
The rumors have been around for so long that it should hardly come as a surprise to anyone, but the Kung Fu Panda sequel is officially happening. Variety reported today that Angelina Jolie and Jack Black have both signed on to reprise their characters for the sequel, titled Pandamonium, which will be released June 3, 2011.
The movie will doubtlessly have some bells and whistles that the original lacked, including a release in 3-D-- if you remember, DreamWorks Animation plans to release all their movies that way starting next fall. I actually never caught Kung Fu Panda this summer, but from what I understand from those who saw it, it was exceptionally good. So maybe the people who made it can be trusted with a sequel. Then again, maybe too much of a good thing is no good thing at all. What say you, Panda-loving public? |
