Land Of The Lost Poster Impresses![]()
Now here’s a Will Ferrell poster worth putting up on your wall. Admittedly, I was a fan of the original Sid & Marty Kroft television show, Land of the Lost, even with as campy as it could be sometimes… okay, most of the time. The idea of Will Ferrell remaking the series as a movie has been an iffy idea at best to me, but if this new poster, online courtesy of Cinematical, is an indication of the direction of the movie, well, I’m ready to see that now.
The image to the right doesn’t even begin to do the poster as a whole justice. I like the look of Will Ferrell and company (Marshall, Will, and Holly) navigating their raft down the river with the T-Rex (Grumpy?) looking so menacing in the background. I particularly like that he looks menacing, not silly, like the movie could have gone (let’s be honest, just about anything would be a step up from the version used in the original show). But what you can’t see here is the crumbling statue of the Altrusian/Sleestak, and the majesty of the whole image together. This is definitely a poster for my wall. Head over to Cinematical to see the whole poster - definitely worth a look and a promising step for the film. |
