The release date for X-Men 3 is growing closer and closer, and with it comes the eventual onslaught of advertising. The last piece was that ho-hum behind the scenes look courtesy of MSN, now we get something with a bigger bang: the official X-Men: The Last Stand website is live.

The website doesn’t offer much we haven’t seen before… yet. Set up as a web browser of its own, the site lets you navigate through pictures, character profiles, and production notes. There are some wallpaper downloads of the mutant head shots or “No Day But Today” posters that everyone was less than excited about a couple months ago.

The site contains hints to some material that is coming, such as mobile content and a forum on “the cure”, a major plot point of X:Men: The Last Stand.
