Thanks to two really awesome trailers, one of the most highly anticipated movies coming up this year is Jonathan Liebesman's Battle: Los Angeles. Sold as a war film that happens to be about an alien invasion, what we've seen from the film has been subtle and epic enough to draw interest while never giving too much away. Let's hope that isn't upended by the movie's new viral campaign.

Movie Viral has discovered that by going to the film's official site (see it here), clicking on "Priority Access", and entering the film's release date (031111), you enter into a database where "the government" is storing information about the extraterrestrials that are laying waste to our planet. While all of the information isn't available just yet, the site says that additional material will be released in a little over a week. For now, users can access information about the aliens' transportation, command structure, biology and weaponry.

It's a pretty cool viral site with some interesting info that hopefully doesn't give too much away about the film. We'll be keeping an eye on this one, so check back in a week to see more from Battle: Los Angeles.
