Leonardo DiCaprio To Voice Jack Frost![]()
Dreamworks Animation (Via Coming Soon) has just announced that Leonardo DiCaprio will deprive women of the chance to gaze upon his glorious visage in his next film. For the first time ever, Leo will step out from center stage and hop behind the microphone to lend his voice to Jack Frost in 2012's animated The Guardians.
The Guardians follows an assortment of imaginary creatures: Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, Leo's Jack Frost, and quite possibly a male-affectionate, easy to get along with, non-political agenda lesbian, on a quest to stop the evil spirit Pitch from taking over the world by scaring the life out of kids around the globe. Each member of the titular gang of heroes has their own unique super powers that combine Captain-Planet-style to take down the baddy. By the way, can we get a Captain Planet live action movie, please? Let's ship that idea to Warner Bros right now. The film will be based on childrens' author William Joyce's upcoming series “The Guardians of Childhood,” and good for him for selling the rights to a series whose actual merit has yet-to-be determined. No details on exactly how much of a kid's movie this will be, but don't expect Santa to disembowel anything with a chainsaw. With Leo attached, the rest of the cast won't be far behind, so stay tuned. |
