Liam Neeson Gets Ready To Punch A Wolf In Teaser Trailer For The Grey
Last year, Liam Neeson and director Joe Carnahan teamed up for The A-Team, an adaptationof the classic 80s television show. As one could probably expect, the movie was a bit silly, with a good amount of humor mixed with the action and thrills. Now the teaser trailer for the new Carnahan-Neeson team-up, The Grey, has arrived online, but this time it looks like they've replaced the funny with intensity.
Check out the trailer below or in HD over on Yahoo! Now that's what I call an effective teaser. Without giving anything away, we know the lead character, his motivations, and the central conflict of the film. We know everything about this film that we need to, and nothing that we don't. Plus Neeson seems to be wearing gloves laced with glass alcohol miniatures, which is just pure badass. In The Grey, Liam Neeson plays Ottway, a member of an oil drilling team and survivor of a plane crash in the Alaskan wilderness. Grouping with other survivors of the accident, Neeson must work to survive as a group of wolves, seeing the men as intruders into their territory, begin to hunt them down. Based on a screenplay written by Carnahan and Ian Mackenzie Jeffers, the film also stars Dermot Mulroney, James Badge Dale, and Frank Grillo. The movie is is being distruted by Open Road films and is scheduled to hit theaters on January 27, 2012. |
