The success of Taken has opened up a whole new world to Liam Neeson. Now he’s suddenly the defacto man on a mission, signing up for movie after movie in which his family and life are threatened and has to do something about it. Here’s another one, which sounds just as awesome as all the others. THR says Neeson has signed up for a movie called Unknown White Male.

In Unknown White Male, Neeson will play a doctor who falls into a coma after a car accident. When he wakes up, he discovers that he’s been replaced. Another man with sinister intentions has taken over his life, leaving him with no choice but to embark on a quest to uncover the truth. If we’re lucky, that quest will also involve Liam Neeson kicking some ass.

It’s being produced by Warner Bros. Dark Castle division, and they’re not exactly known for their subtlety. It’s being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who helmed the recent horror movie Orphan and also the House of Wax remake which is only really remembered because it contained Paris Hilton.
