Lindsay Lohan's quest for Oscar respectability continues to dominate the news today. She's added yet another heavy drama to her list of impending projects. Production Weekly says her next movie will be Who Killed Me, and she'll play dual roles. No Eddie Murphy, she doesn't need to borrow a fat suit.
In Who Killed Me Lindsay plays a rich girl named Aubrey abducted and mutilated by a sadistic killer. She escapes, but leaves an arm and a leg behind in doing so. When Aubrey wakes up in a hospital, she claims she's not Aubrey but someone identical to Aubrey but named Dakota. She must then try to convince everyone she's not completely mad, and that in fact Aubrey is still being held prisoner somewhere and needs saving. I hope this isn't headed towards Face Off territory. I really don’t' want to see Lindsay Lohan mutilated, but then pretty girls getting ugly does seem to be a sure path to Oscar gold these days, doesn't it?
