For all the classic movies he has brought us, James Cameron have given the world one thing that he'll truly never be forgiven for -- "My Heart Will Go On," the Celine Dion mega-hit that pretty much defined 1998 whether we like it or not. The closing song for Titanic was sappy and formulaic, with a truly absurd music video, but it made a huge amount of money and won an Oscar. Therefore Cameron is basically trying to replicate it with the closing song from Avatar, Leona Lewis's "I See You."

PopEater is streaming the song on their site so you can now hear exactly what the Aughts version of "My Heart Will Go On" sounds like. It's kinda sappy and kinda boring, but I'll choose not to judge Avatar based on that just yet. And if it convinces moony 13-year-old girls to see Avatar, just as "My Heart Will Go On" swept away all my eighth-grade classmates, then all the better.
