The “living movie poster” for Step-Brothers, below, is actually what convinced me the movie might be worth seeing. It popped up in-between the usual pre-show commercials when I was waiting to see Indiana Jones back in May, and actually made me and my friends laugh, which is hard to do for people who are just anxious for their movie to start.
Step-Brothers, of course, is the latest Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly movie to star the two of them as a pair of idiots, this time as two guys who still live with their single parents and are forced to move in together when their parents marry. Being Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in a comedy together, they act like 11-year-olds on a constant sleepover. Presumably a plot is involved in this movie, but the previews thus far haven’t revealed one, and really, do they need to?
Really, I think you have a good comedy on your hands if a 15-second promo that consists of two jokes can make me laugh. Check out the “living poster” below, courtesy of FunnyorDie.com, and decide for yourself.
