With names like Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron and Idris Elba all attached to play starring roles in the maybe-an-Alien-prequel-after-all Prometheus, Ridley Scott has landed a cast filled with names and faces you already recognize. His newest addition, however, may require a Google search or two.

Deadline is reporting that Logan Marshall-Green has landed a lead role in the upcoming sci-fi epic. One of the leads in the M. Night Shyamalan-produced Devil and a series regular on the show Dark Blue, the actor will play Holloway, a spaceship crewmember and the love interest of Rapace's Elizabeth Shaw. The report says that it was a highly sought after role (not really a surprise), though it doesn't say who else was in the running.

Anybody out there familiar with Marshall-Green want to chime in on his casting? Is he a solid actor that will show off his skills with this part? Is he about ready to break into the spotlight? Do any Lost fans out there find it kind of funny that Damon Lindelof wrote a script where a main character is named Holloway? Discuss.
