Whether it’s discussing why "more is better than less stuff" or why it’s "better to be fast to not be bitten by a werewolf," AT&T’s had a pretty good run with their "It’s Not Complicated" commercials, which star SNL’s Beck Bennett as a guy having discussions with a bunch of adorable and opinionated tots. In a similar situation, Loki takes a slightly more violent approach to responding to the children, who appear to be in agreement that Thor is a better superhero than Loki.

Via EW, this amusing ad, which comes from Comedy Central, is set to debut today and arrives just days ahead of the anticipated release of Thor: The Dark World, which will bring the rivaling Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) back together on screen, where Loki’s demonstrated shoving abilities may come in handy.

While EW doesn’t mention if this spot was a direct nod to the AT&T ads that have been airing all year, there do seem to be some similarities. What do you suppose Loki would say to the little girl who grumbles about wishing she could be back to a human?

On a slightly more personal note, while I think my 5-year-old nephew would be in agreement that Thor is a better superhero than Loki, he does refer to The Avengers as "the one with Loki," which is a good indication that some kids love the villainous character even if he doesn't have Thor's wavy blonde locks or Mjölnir.

Thor: The Dark World arrives in theaters November 8. The film will have Thor battling to save earth and all the Nine realms from an enemy that predates the universe itself.
In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

The film has already raked in $100 million overseas indicating that this will be another big payday for Disney, especially following the massive box office haul that was Iron Man 3, which grossed $1.2 billion worldwide by the end of its theatrical run.

UPDATE: Here's another Loki ad, and this one includes a speaking line from AT&T werewolf grumbler Diana Zorek:
