Look Optimus In The Eye![]()
The first close-up image of Optimus Prime’s face in Transformers has hit the net, much to Paramount’s chagrin. They’re throwing out cease and desists at an alarming rate today, and as everyone knows defying them means getting a team of lawyers latched on to your hosting provider and your website being permanently shut down.
So, I’m not even going to bother posting the image here. No, it’s not the pic to your right. In fact, it looks nothing like the image I’ve posted with this story. I just don’t have the energy to fight off a pack of lawyers this afternoon. Paramount has all the money, so they win. But I will direct you here, where for the moment they still have the image up. We’ve seen a lot of pictures of Optimus from the film, so you may think you already know what his face looks like. But this is the first actual close up we’ve gotten and, if you ask me, he looks absolutely nothing like I’d expected from the wide shots. Mostly, it’s the eyes. Optimus Prime just doesn’t look right with human eyes. It’s kind of creepy actually. Others are wondering where the flames are. All the previous pics we’ve seen if Prime have painted on flames covering him from head to toe. No sign of those in this picture, which is a welcome change. So, go take a look at the pic by clicking here. Click fast before it’s gone. |
