MTV.com has been steadfastly pushing the fact that tomorrow night you’ll be able to see the trailer for The Incredible Hulk after it debuts on MTV’s television networks. They haven’t been quite as vocal about the fact that apparently they’ll be carrying the trailer for Lost Boys 2: The Tribe as well. In fact, I can’t find anywhere that their movie news blog, typically on top of things, has mentioned it.

It appears that the trailer will show up tomorrow on MTV, despite the lack of news. Instead we had to hear about it from Bloody-Disgusting, who in turn didn’t get the info from MTV either – they read about the trailer’s debut on Corey Feldman. Of course, that makes me wonder who is bored enough to sit and read Feldman’s blog, but that’s another matter entirely.

According to Feldman, the trailer will also be included on next week’s DVD release, I Am Legend, but will be available online before then on MTV, starting Wednesday at 8am EST. Based on the fact that the trailer will be attached to a DVD, it sounds like Lost Boys 2 is back to being a direct to DVD release (a theatrical release had been briefly talked about at one point).

I still don’t think the appearance of Feldog and Haimster is going to be enough to save a sequel that’s really uncalled for and far past the window of opportunity. I guess we’ll see when the DVD arrives this summer, although the trailer will also probably give us a pretty good indication too. Expect it to play up the two Coreys appearance, however, which isn’t supposed to be much more than a cameo.
