Poseidon has another trailer out and if you're looking for the movie in nutshell, you've got it. The two minute montage takes you from start to finish stopping just short of telling you who actually survives the final moments of story (although ships captain Andre Braugher boldly promises us some folks will).
Since the movie is a remake I was hoping for something akin to the original only with better effects. If this new trailer is any indication it looks like the filmmakers have taken a cue from Titanic and heightened the romance story angles, complete with a young couple professing their undying love right down to the bitter end. I don't suppose it could make things any worse. Despite an all star cast this isn't exactly the kind of movie that's going to earn anyone any awards. All we can do is sit back and enjoy the screaming, dying and giant freakin' tidal wave.
