Desperation is such a horrible cologne. MGM doesn’t apparently just want money - it needs it the way a crack whore needs a fix. I truly am waiting for the studio to dig up Louis B. Mayer’s corpse and allow nostalgic people to screw it for pennies a pop. According to Coming Soon, in this desperation MGM is making five sequels to films that no one wanted to see in their first incarnation.

Now, they are not whoring out classic films, just movies that no one would ever ask for, ever. Here are the five films that no one cares about: Legally Blonde 3 (Without Reese), The Cutting Edge 3, Into the Blue 2 (Yes that’s right Into The Blue 2), War Games 2, and Species 4. It can be assumed that most of these films will be DTV, although MGM is the studio unleashing Rocky Balboa onto an unsuspecting public, so who knows?
