If like me, you can’t wait another minute to see The Chronicles of Riddick, MTV will be filling up your tank with Diesel next Sunday night. At 11PM they’ll be airing the first ten minutes of Vin’s big adventure, following something called “The Sunday Stew”. I bet it doesn’t involve music or cooking.

This new trend of advertising your movie by showing the first ten minutes is actually pretty cool. It’s less misleading. It’s a show of confidence in your product. No slick trailers, just here’s the movie, if it hooks you go see it. Gotta respect that.

Of course I don’t care since I’ll be seeing The Chronicles of Riddick tomorrow night. You won’t so maybe this MTV schlock will interest you. No you cannot come with me. No I do not accept bribery by beer. Yes I do take Visa. How do you look in a mini-skirt?
