According to Deadline, Maggie Grace, best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford on Lost and Liam Neeson's kidnapped daughter in Taken, has joined the cast of the upcoming Twilight film Breaking Dawn, which has been broken into two parts. In the films she will play Irina, a vampire that is a member of the Denali coven, another "vegetarian" group of bloodsuckers much like the Cullens. Though they are initially friendly, the relationship between the two clans deteriorates when Irina blames the Cullens for the death of her "lover."

My attitude towards the Twilight films is fairly well-established, so in lieu of another hateful rant, I will just say this: come November 16, 2012 it will all finally be over and we'll never have to hear another word about it - that is until they decide to reboot it 15 years down the road and we have to go though all of this nonsense again. But, who knows? Perhaps we'll all be dead by then. Silver lining.
