Maria Bello Joins Liam Neeson And Olivia Wilde In Third Person
Paul Haggis has already gathered quite the ensemble cast for his next film, the romance Third Person, but heís not done quite yet. Today it has been announced that Maria Bello has also joined the cast list.
Variety, which first reported the casting news, says that production is scheduled to start up very soon, with everything set to start Wednesday in Rome. Bello joins a stellar lineup that includes Adrien Brody, Liam Neeson, James Franco, Kim Basinger, Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde and Moran Atias. Much like what Haggis did with his Academy Award winning film Crash, the film will tell a group of intersecting stories, but instead of dealing with race relations the new movie will look at relationships. The trades says that the chapters will be told in ďParis, New York and Rome, with each storyline following a different stage of a love relationship from the beginning, middle and the end. Haggis wrote the script himself.
While the new report doesnít have character details about who Maria Bello will be playing, Kim Basinger will be playing Liam Neesonís wife, and Olivia Wilde will be Neesonís lover. Every other actorís role remains a mystery.
While her recent television series, a remake of the UK series Prime Suspect, didnít work out so well, Bello has been keeping busy and will next be seen reprising her role as Kevin Jamesí wife in the comedy sequel Grown Ups 2, which will be in theaters July 12, 2013. On the big screen Bello was last seen in the John Bonito-directed thriller Carjacked and played Taylor Lautnerís ďmomĒ in Abduction.
