Even if you've never watched a non-American movie in your life, there's no way you aren't intrigued by a the notion of a movie, filmed in Spain, financed by Italy, directed by a Chilean, and starring Nick Nolte and Marilyn Manson. That's the general notion behind King Shot, a project that Screen Daily says is almost completely financed and will begin filming in October.
Director Alejandro Jodorowsky hasn't made a film in 20 years, but will be returning to make this "metaphysical spaghetti Western" that also stars The Last Mistress star Asia Argento and Udo Kier. I can't possibly imagine what kind of movie could include this cast, this plot, and Marilyn Manson, But really, I'd rather keep the mystery alive, and be completely surprised-- and probably horrified-- by the end result when it hits theaters.
