Marion Ravenwood In Indy 4 - Updated!

Just the other day I was complaining about the latest update at indianajones.com. Well, apparently I complained too soon. The site has undergone a massive transformation, the least of which being that now, when you visit the site, it blares the Indiana Jones theme music at you. Excellent!

However, the transformation of the site isn’t the only change. They’ve updated it with the latest news, that was announced by Spielberg himself via remote appearance at San Diego Comic-Con today: Karen Allen is in the movie. That’s right, the first lady of Indy, Marion Ravenwood, is in Indiana Jones 4. Does this add credence to the rumor that John Hurt is playing her father, Abner Ravenwood? Does it add credence to the rumor that the Ark of the Covenant will be involved? Not really, but it’s still fun to speculate. Mostly it just means Indy will have himself a hell of a time. Marion was the only woman Indy met in the movies that I thought really held her own with him.

Take a look at the image below to see Allen on set with Spielberg, giving him the big thumbs up. Is it just me or has this woman barely aged since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark?

I think Karen Allen looks absolutely fabulous at her age right now . Yes she is one of my all time favorite female action icon from this day forward . I have already seen Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull three times so far because watching every action scenes were so totally awesome and there were some funniest ones as well including when Indy and Marion were kinda stuck into the quick sand while she was talking to him about her son Mutt Williams played by Shia LeBeouf who is Indy's and doesn't know it until now . Also when Karen was driving shot gun twice while she drove full throttle towards at the end of the cliff into the water rapids three times when it drops while she smiles was one of my absolutely favorite parts as soon as they reached up running into those high giant steps before heading down into the cave once again . If Karen Allen is going to do another future film in the works it would be like playing this very young 36 woman who has a learning disability and wanted to pursue her dream of becoming an inspired Hip - Hop Graffiti / Disney Animator at a near by Art University here in San Francisco but her parents couldn't afford paying her college themselves cause it was to expensive at it is right now . Something like this as a real life drama television movie .

Karen Allen, the "perfect" and natural choice for #4. Too bad Harrison and Spielberg didn't take a dip in the same fountain of "eternal" youth that Karen did. LOL!!! She, literally, hasn't aged more than an hour since #3.
