Scorsese has DiCaprio, Woody has Scarlett Johansson, Eastwood has… Matt Damon? Eastwood and Damon have just finished working together on a South African rugby movie called Invictus, set to be released this December, and they’re already making plans to get back together. THR says both are on board for a supernatural thriller called Hereafter.

Clint will direct the movie, written by Peter Morgan and described as a “supernatural thriller”. No word on what it’s about, all we know is that Matt Damon will star. The title suggests it’s about life after death, so let’s assume that Matt Damon is hit by a car and resurrected as a basketball playing schnauzer. That’s probably wrong, but I’d pay money to see Clint Eastwood direct that movie.
