When Mark Wahlberg made a movie last year called Shooter, it might have been the most literal way possible to ask to be cast in a video game adaptation. Now with his lead role as the titular New York cop in Max Payne, Wahlberg seems to have gotten his wish. At least the guns he built up for Shooter won't go to waste!In tandem with the new trailer for the movie released online a few days ago, Fox, has released six promo photos, available over at FirstShowing.net. It's unclear whether they're super-stylized because that's the way the movie will look or just because they're promotional photos and not actual stills, but either way, they look totally amazing. I mean, in three of the six photos, he's actively shooting not one but two guns. You know Marky Mark won't settle for anything but the maximum amount of carnage! Max Payne comes out on October 17, so if you just can't wait, check out the images below, and head to FirstShowing for the full size. Between that and the trailer, plus playing the video game yourself, you'll have all the Wahlberg you could possibly want.
