Back in February, following the premiere of the newest Toy Story 3 trailer, we wrote up a quick feature about the new characters, one of which was a sparkly purple octopus that enjoyed "giving massages, fanning, shaking multiple hands at once and gambling." Simply put, we had absolutely no idea who the hell this character was.

Now we do. Meet Stretch, who will be voiced by Whoopi Goldberg. According to the character description, Stretch is "a fun-loving under-the-sea octopus friend that shines in glittery purple. Kids can count her eight rubbery legs and dozens of sticky suckers that are sure to stand up to rough-and-tumble play and extreme stretching.
