Megan Fox In Talks For Judd Apatow's Knocked-Up Spin-Off![]()
Megan Fox needs some positive mojo. After getting axed from the Transformers franchise she helped build and disappointing at the box office with both Jonah Hex and Jennifer’s Body, the twenty-four year old actress has something to prove, not only to her fans but to herself. Is she going to be a legitimate star or a flavor of the week dudes fantasized about for a few years? Top-lining three or four movies doesn’t always guarantee longevity in this business, but working with established writers and directors certainly helps.
According to THR, Fox is currently working out the details to appear in beloved director Judd Apatow’s Knocked-Up spin-off. The nameless feature has, up to this point, been zealously guarded by all involved. As such, we haven’t the slightest idea who Fox would play or even how big of a role she might have. Here’s what we do know: the Apatow-directed film will follow Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann’s married couple from Knocked-Up in a completely separate story line which may or may not be a parallel universe. They could babysit Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl’s baby or they could never even mention the new family. We simply have no idea. I’d love to see a Jason Segel cameo where he relentlessly hits on Mann’s character again, but in this alternate reality, he may not even exist. Speculating on this is like watching a show about black holes on the Discovery Channel. If this comes to fruition, it’ll be nice to see Megan Fox play a character that’s more human than sex symbol. I don’t expect her to age as well as Helen Mirren, so implementing a little more realism into her work might be the right call. |
