Megan Fox Reveals That Jason Segel Has A Role In This Is Forty
Because the next Judd Apatow film, currently titled This Is Forty, is a spin-off from the 2007 hit Knocked Up, there's a solid chance that the movie will contain cameos by characters from the first movie. While it's hard to imagine that Katherine Heigl will show up (she famously called Knocked Up "a little sexist), the door is open for other Apatow regulars, such as Seth Rogen, Martin Starr, and Jay Baruchel, to make an appearance. Now a photo from Megan Fox's Facebook page has confirmed that the movie will have at least one member of the group making an appearance. Here is the shot in question:
The photo features Fox and Chris O'Dowd, both of whom have previously been confirmed for roles in the film, swimming in a pool with none other than Jason Segel. In case you're skeptical, thinking that they may just be hanging out, the caption reads "On set of THIS IS 40 with Jason and Chris...Two very handsome, very tall, VERY funny men." In Knocked Up Segel played Jason, one of Ben's friends, who was not shy about hitting on Leslie Mann's character, Debbie, even in front of her husband, Pete. The new film focuses on the relationship between Debbie and Pete as they raise their two daughters together and go through the ups and downs of marriage. This movie also stars John Lithgow, Albert Brooks, Robert Smigel and Melissa McCarthy. The film is set to be released on June 1, 2012, just a month after Segel's Five Year Engagement is released, so be ready for a summer full of Segel. |
