Ernest Hemingway was the writer that defined a generation. His words were poetic, heartbreaking, and beautiful. Unfortunately, by his late 60s he was awash in depression and expensive alcohol, eventually deciding to end his life with a shotgun purchased from, of all places, Abercrombie And Fitch. At the time of his death, he was penning a new novel entitled “The Garden Of Eden.” It now appears the Great Depression era tale is ready for its own film adaptation.
According to Variety, Mena Suvari has signed on to appear in The Garden Of Eden along with Jack Huston, Caterina Murino, and Richard E. Grant. The story will center around an ex-pilot (Huston) who tries his hand at writing. He soon ties the knot with Suvari, and the two criss-cross Europe, pushing each other’s buttons and introducing a new woman into the bedroom. Another woman? I’m down with that.
Principal shooting will take place in Spain. If all goes well, it should be wrapped in a few months, placing a relate date last this year or early next year. Expect lots of drama, an exponential amount of Mena Suvari hotness, and me to be the first one in line.
