Mia Wasikowska Joins Vera Farmiga And Anthony LaPaglia In Arthur Miller Adaptation![]()
Is there anyone hotter than Mia Wasikowska right now? The Kids Are All Right and Alice In Wonderland star has been popping up everywhere from the new trailers for Jane Eyre to The Singular Life Of Albert Nobbs, and it seems as though her world domination is just starting. As of today, she’s been cast in the upcoming A View From The Bridge. Helmed by Robert Connolly, the film is an adaptation of the Arthur Miller play, and beyond Wasikowska, it’s got a pretty impressive list of stars.
According to Variety, Up In The Air star Vera Farmiga and Without A Trace star Anthony LaPaglia have also added this to their schedules, joining the previously cast Sam Neill. Twelve years ago, LaPaglia played the main character in a version of A View From The Bridge on Broadway, and he was rewarded with a Tony. We’ll see if this time around will measure up. The basic plot follows a man, his wife, and their niece, as their lives are thrown into turmoil after visiting cousins from Italy view for the niece’s affections. LaPaglia will play the father, Farmiga, the mother and Wasikowska, the niece. No word yet on who Sam Neill might play or when shooting will begin, but we'll keep you updated on all the details. |
