We waited 15 extra minutes in the press room last night before the start of the ShoWest final night banquet, waiting for Michael Bay to show up and give us a dose of his signature bravado. Not only did he actually show up, which had been in doubt, but he gave us a solid amount of his time, and also dissed the bedrock of the discussion at ShoWest all week: 3D.

When asked by the 3D fanatics at Market Saw whether he might consider making Transformers 3 in 3D, Michael Bay wasn't too enthusiastic. "I don't know... I might be old school... i think it might be a gimmick. "
