One of James Cameron’s go-to guys in the 1980s, Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss), will star with Tom Berenger in a direct-to-DVD smelling thriller called Stiletto. The two play organized crime partners who are rivals for the affection of an assassin played by Stana Katic. Biehn’s appearance in this movie soldifies Val Kilmer’s assesment of him in Tombstone. He is, indeed, no daisy.

Stiletto, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is being produced and directed by Nick Vallelonga. I’ve never heard of Nick and I’m not sure this is the movie that will send him into the public consciousness. The screenplay was written by actor Paul Sloan who will play a detective in the film. Katic is marginally known to fans of “Heroes” as the woman who can control the Internet with her mind, or something.

Every movie can’t be Citizen Kane, but this seems like a run of the mill thriller without a lot to speak for it. Something you might watch at two in the morning on Starz. Tom Sizemore and William Forsythe are both in it, and that should really tell you something.
