Michael Cera Says No Arrested Development Movie![]()
Every time an Arrested Development alum has a new project, they make the press rounds and drop hints about the possibility of an Arrested Development movie. Michael Cera however, may have finally put the speculation to rest.
Speaking to the National Post, Michael Cera expressed not only his disbelief in the possibility of his movie, but his complete disinterest as well. He tells them that he’s heard nothing about plans for a film (apparently he has never seen an interview with Jason Bateman) and adds, “I don't think I would want to see a movie of the series if I was a fan, anyway.” He suggests you Arrested Development fans give it up and get your fill another way. Says Cera, “I don't really see a need for it if you can get the three seasons on DVD.” If there were really a movie happening, odds are Cera would know something about it, as one of the show’s key castmembers. It sounds like even if there is one, they’ll be doing it without him. He’s got plenty of other things to do. |
