Michael Giacchino Providing The Score For Let Me In![]()
If there's one thing we can agree on in the divisive world of entertainment, it's that Michael Giacchino is a god. I mean, seriously: in 2009 alone the guy wrote the scores for Star Trek and Up (winning an Oscar for the latter) and continued his six-season run as the composer for Lost, writing new music for every single episode and pioneering the use of jet engine noises in music. If you don't love him already, you just haven't been paying attention.
Giacchino has also done us a favor of getting on board the J.J. Abrams train, meaning that every time Abrams or one of his cohorts comes up with something cool, some good music is bound to follow. Apparently that's going to be the case with the next film from Abrams protege Matt Reeves, Let Me In, which as you probably know by now is a remake of the Swedish vampire film Let the Right One In. According to the fansite Michael Giacchino Music, Giacchino will be contributing the score for the film, which is set to come out this October. What more to say than "Hooray!" More Giacchino is always a good thing. |
