Last month we told you here about Hilary Duff’s upcoming Bonnie and Clyde movie, the succinctly named The Story of Bonnie and Clyde. The movie’s still in the casting phase and though with Hilary Duff as Bonnie we half expect them to cast one of the Jonas Brothers as Clyde, it’s not all bad. They may be adding acting ability elsewhere in the cast.

We’ve learned that Michael Madsen is currently meeting with producers about an as of yet undisclosed part in the film. Our sources tell us he may be playing some sort of cowboy. Or maybe he just likes snakeskin boots.

Madsen is a terrific actor, but recently he’s been lost in an unending stream of unseen direct-to-dvd movies. His last respectable role was in Sin City, and since then it’s been the likes of L.A. Dicks and Scary Movie 4 for Mr. Blonde.
