Michael Moore’s Love Story Gets A Poster

discussioncomments published: 2009-08-27 17:24:31 Author: Perri Nemiroff
We all know Michael Moore doesn’t make a movie unless he has a serious point to get across. Moore holds nothing back when tackling particular issues in his films and isn’t about to censor himself even when it comes to his posters.

Fandango had the privilege of premiering Overture Picture’s poster for Capitalism: A Love Story. The poster is as blunt as Moore himself. It’s straightforward, bold and gets the point across. Typically, I’m a little perturbed by a poster that’s lacking a tagline, but a one-liner would only complicate this simply outrageous image.

The documentary in which Moore probes the impact of corporate domination on the average American will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in mid-September followed by a limited release in New York and Los Angeles on September 23rd. It’ll hit theaters nationwide on October 2nd.
