Michael Sheen Talks Underworld 3

These movies are by far the best vampire movies out there. These movies are going to become cult classics. The only movie that is an equal is Interview With A Vampire. I loved both of these movies and can't wait for the next one to come out. I know a lot of people that feel the same way. It's a shame that Kate won't be returning, as I think these are the only movies she's been in that are worth a crap!! I hope they don't get someone else to play the part of Salene-I can't imagine anyone but her in that outfit!!

if your gonna do a whole three movies of this story, you might as well do at least five, your giving Mister Sheen here a movie about his role, you gave Kate two movies, do what you have to give zita gorog a movie, all i seen of her was a train stop and a little horse back riding, she is a very beautiful and talented actress/ model, and Amelia was really left out to tell you the truth. i know about Marcus, and i know about Viktor , but were did the only female elder come from? finally, you should bring back alexander corvinus for the " birth of the corvinus clan" or what ever you want to call it. but make one thing clear to this new girl playing sonja, i seen her in dooms day, and i can tell she has this selene type thing to her, but she will never be able to go toe to toe with kate beckinsale. and thata coming from a true fan of kate

I got to say the First movie was so good and Victor and Lucian characters were def the best characters in the movie. I am so glad they are making a movie centered around there characters because the second movie not really having either of them in it sucked. Not to mention the whole Hybrid thing got so out of hand that it wasnt even about the Vampires and Werewolfs anymore.

Watch both movies alot. Hope 3 has alot of Viktor/Nighy in it. My friends and I agree that he is the toughest vampire in cinema history, only killing that oversized lycan with one hand and never flinching. That beast was running amok through the vampires until Viktor. Would like to see more of the beautiful Amelia/Gorog in warrior gear. Both movies were great.

I am so glad that they are making another one!!! I just loved the character of Lucian..His story was compelling and more levels than one first thinks at the begining of the 1st movie. Out of all of the characters in the movie his was by far the most interesting. Michael Sheen is such a great actor. I have been a fan of his since the first Underworld and have watched and now own several of his movies since.

I really liked the we got to see more of the vampire/lycan history in Underworld: Evolution. I would love to see more of the history in a prequil. Some people just want to see what's going to happen next in the story. Be patient. There's plenty of time to make that movie in the future. In fact, learning more about the vampire/lycan history will make another sequel that much better. If they use Michael Sheen then I definitely have no complains about the prequil being about Lucian. Lucian's story is good, but the character was really made great by the way that Michael Sheen played it. I definitely want to see more of the Raze character too. We got to see a little of him kicking as in the first Underworld movie but we didn't find out much about him. That leaves the writers the opportunity to take his allegiance to Lucian in a number of different directions. Bottom line: I don't care how many prequils or sequils are made. Just give us more UNDERWORLD!!!

Underworld 3 would be completely stupid and suck. First of all, William, gets his head ripped off in under 10 minutes of movie time in Underworld 2. He comes out of this tomb one big bad MF, and right when it became climatic and amazing he survived, he gets killed. How idiotic was it for his character to never have the chance to start anew or find the rest of his lycan clan and continue the story. Who knows perhaps an old "dog" ok wolf could learn a new trick and control his transformation. PS dummies, immortals do not give birth, so a child between Michael and Selene is not an option. This is probably why they killed Sonja in the first Underworld, when they saw how stupid reproduction would have been. Hello, Lycans and Vampires bite in order to breed and continue. Also there should be far more Lycans in existence than the Vampires could imagine, given their ability to roam all hours. As Selene stated, there could be hundreds of them, and there should be. That idea may actually eek out another story, where the Lycans team up to kill the hybrids, in order to keep and maintain balance. It also sucked that Raze, the bad ass black dude, was killed with one hand by Viktor..LAME.... Also folks SILVER does not kill lycans it only slows them down and prevents transformation, even if they are pierced in a major organ. Truth be told, they must be mortally wounded, ie head severed off, or heart ripped out. Underworld 1 was the best A+++, Underworld 2 D- at best.

There are a number of characters in the Underworld series that I have questions about. How did they come to be, what happened in their lives to make them the way they are.?

I would love to see more on the story and Evolution of the Corvenus clan. Why the Senior Corvenus did what he did. Show us, then the creation of the brothers and what happened up until the imprisionment of William and the acquisition of Victor and Amelia. I also think the story of Lucien is a compelling one and will be a fantastic story.

Actually there is potential for a number of prequels.

I still think they need to continus where Underworld 2 left off. Selene's closing comments leave the door wide open. There are a million ways they can go. She is a new type of vampire and he is a hybbrid. What will their offspring bring. Will mom and dad have to battle their own child or children (how about twins?). So many things.

They can keep going. The sorries were so full of story lines.

off top man.. underworld series makes all other vampire-warewolf movies look like something out of Mr. Rogers. we definitely need the third one to be the best. in part 2 most of the story was told and there prob isnt much to tell now but simply go back in time and have more of. - Amelia,Willaim,Marcus,Trannis and ALexander Corvinus. the beginning of the transformation leading up to the night when Victor killed SIleen's family. for all we kno the movie mite as well come no further than the 13th century. the movie keeps it appeal due to the timeline, too many centuries, too many ideas....

Both Underworld movies are the best movies so far about Vampires/warewolves. Anyone who says otherwise is crazy. The movies were shot beautifully, the characters and actors were great, and YES the plots are unique & creative. Underworld is in a league all in it's own. Blade was not as near as good and that even made 3 movies, even with the really bad 2nd one. Underworld is action packed and more realistic than any other Vampire movies made. If the third movie is going to be a prequil with all the older vampires (hopefully with Kraven, hot, bad boy, sexy vampire) then they have to make a fourth. It can't end with Selene standing in the sunrise, not being fried and finally being in love and together with Michael. It just can't end this way!!! There is sooo much more to be told with the Underworld story. Critics don't know anything. People want at least 2 more movies. Len, get writing and get filming!!! GO UNDERWORLD !! WE ALL LOVE IT & CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!!! I also have both of the DVD's and I still watch them all the time. I need More!!

Yea a prequel would be very interesting. Both the movies so far have been wonderful, i dont know what hes talking about, anyway yea a prequel sounds very promising, personally i cant wait

I'm looking forward to the next installment whether it's a sequel or a prequel. I loved Lucian's character and hope it comes back. I'd also like to see much more about Amelia, Viktor, and all the old wars. Kudos to Len Wiseman for creating movies that not only have great beasts (the best werewolf transformations since American Werewolf in London), but also a real storyline worth coming back to. Also--what about girl werewolves? Are there any?

I always wondered why did Lucian would allow Kraven to appeared to have killed him, and he said "I've bled for you once..." and I always think what motivated Lucian to allow the Lycans to have been hunted down so badly. didn't they say for 600 years while he lays low {???}...and so I think a prequel would be great. Besides the ancient characters are really interesting.

I dont think they should make a prequel. So far the story has been about Kate Beckinsale. And I would like to seethe continue of her story. To see a new movie to that would involve her being able to walk in the sun again. I really dont think it will as good without her somewhere in the story. Maybe if it was the begining of her becoming a vampire and dealing with her new enemies and new powers. I say no Kate, they have no movie

Darren, obviously you don't like Underworld. But, you need to realize there are many who do. Underworld has a great story line that can lead to many sequels. And trust me, people will go see them, box office or DVDs.

the underworld series is fantastic and everything and every one leaves room to go forward and back but if they were going to make a prequal i think it would be wise to focus on the corvinus family maybe possibly the rise of lucian will be ok but that guy died and the flash backs in the first two pretty much told us in a half shell so pick another character bio maybe more on william corvinus will be great you didnt see a whole lot but i dont think you have seen the last of the corvinus family anyway im just yapping

I agree with amost every point 'Danny' had to make. The movies are great, unique and have amazing special effects. I have never seen such highly detailed back story on vampires and werewolves in any movies within this genre and personally think these movies are bloody brilliant. The characters are ripe for delving into and finding out more on them. Underworld3,4,5,6 bring it on. Notice i said 'agree with almost every point' It seems that as well as opinions being like assholes, some assholes have opinions and the homophobic rant at the end of Dannys' comments only negates what this particular asshole has written. As a 'fag' may i enlighten the dim witted Danny that being gay doesn't mean loving musicals and wearing make up. It means we sleep with men. Period. Back to the thread, although i'd love more movies i think as Darren Bermingham commented, a tv spin off if done well could be essential viewing. I'd be first in line for the seasons on DVD.

The third movie is going to be souly based on the life of Lucian. Expect to see returning characters such as Victor, Amelia, and most of the elder Vampires and Lycans. I'm sure many new characters will arrive as I welcome the idea of that. Kate Beckinsale will not be returning, even though she is the wife of the writer/director Len Wiseman, but who gives a shit. She may be hot, but she is far from the top of the list. I'm sure the acting roles will be filled properly. I think the creature effects alone made the first 2 films better than any film of it's kind. Other than Dog Sholdiers, I've never seen werewolves look so good. I mean Thomas Flountz. Ring a bell. He was the man behind the creature effects. Same guy that did Critters, Mortal Kombat, the Mission Impossible movies, X-men: The Last Stand, Spiderman 3, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer just to name a few. Not to mention all of the others who worked there asses off just so some sorry as critic could shit on them. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. So when it's time for release, go see the movie and care not what others think. Trust me, if you like the first 2, this one will be the shit. The third movie will kick some serious ass no matter who is cast for the film. Another thing: To the critic that started this page, if you though the first 2 were so bad, you got some serious issues man. It's one thing to say is was your type of movie, but you olbviously have little knowlege of what makes a movie stand out. I bet your favorite movie of all time is Brokeback Mountain. What a fag!

He if there telling the story of Lucian, they will probabyl show Sonja and we finally get to see her, and the 3 seconds picture of her melting under the sun in movie 1 doesn't count, this might be a love story of Lucian and his vampire chick. This should be fun!!!

You guys are ridiculous. First of all you apparently know nothing about Underworld as Sheen plays Lucian. The person giving the bad review is a critic by the name of Darren Bermingham. And of course we all disagree with him because nobody in there right mind who doesn't like these movies would be reading about the third movie. You guys need to grow up a little and realize that the only way this movie will be good is if it is a sequel and we get to see kate beckinsale do the horizontal hustle again.

Dude! Sheen that movie was totally awesome wat are you talking about. An Underworl 3 would be sweet except with Michael and Selenes babies since they had sex in the sequel. Im not a big fan of prequels.

C'mon Sheen, get real, the thought of Underworld 3 is awesome! Both movies were great takes on the vampire and werewolf genre. Not to mention, the huge fan following that these movies have created in the world. The tale of Lucian would be interesting to see, but we can't forget the story of Michael and Selene. They're the major rainmakers in the story. If the creators of Underworld 3 can make the plot compelling enough where Lucian and some other gorgeous vampire can take Michael and Selene's spot in the new flick - then I think the new movie would undoubtedly be an overall success. Hands down, I have my scopes out for UW3. It's eye candy and the story telling is highly entertaining!
