Kissing is forbidden in Bollywood movies. Richard Gere recently sparked riots when he playfully made out with one of their actresses on television. In India, sexual freedom is something for other people, they want no part of it. Kissing may be a problem, but apparently casting a convicted rapist in their movies isn’t.

The Times of India says that Mike Tyson is trying to get a job working in Bollywood. He’s been approached by Indian producer Firoz Nadiadwala with a script. Tyson says, “We seriously intend to work toward it,” but didn’t offer any details on what he’d be doing in it.

Presumably his raping skills won’t be required, but he’ll probably need a few dance moves. Since their uptight country has such a problem with physical contact between opposite sexes, Bollywood movies usually end up working out things like sexual tension through lavish song and dance numbers. If Tyson wants to work in Bollywood, he’ll need bright colors and ballet shoes. Maybe if works out his energy doing exotic line dances it’ll keep him from abusing women, doing drugs, and punching people in the head.
