Milla Jovovich Joins A Perfect Getaway
The cast of David Twohy’s A Perfect Getaway has finally gotten some estrogen added to it. That’s actually a very good thing considering the movie is about a newlywed couple on their honeymoon and previously only had Steve Zahn and Timothy Olyphant announced as cast members. Zahn and Olyphant would be hard to believe as a newlywed couple (not that there’s anything wrong with that). I just don’t see the chemistry between the two actors being believable.
Thankfully, The Fifth Element’s Milla Jovovich has stepped in to save Steve Zahn from a honeymoon night with Timothy Olyphant. She will play Zahn’s new wife according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While on their Hawaii honeymoon, Zahn and Jovovich’s characters encounter a pair of hikers who turn out to be vicious killers. Olyphant is one of those hiking murderers and will be joined by Kiele Sanchez (Lost). Hmmm, newly married couple and murdering couple. I wonder if Twohy is trying to say anything about relationships with his Perfect Getaway script.
Twohy wrote and will direct A Perfect Getaway, which is slated to start filming by the end of the month in Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
