One of Spider-Man’s arch villains is teaming up with Superman’s girlfriend. Coming Soon says former Doc Ock Alfred Molina has joined the cast of the supernatural thriller After.Life with Kate Bosworth.

Directed by Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo, the movie is supposed to be about a woman (played by Bosworth) in a transitional state between life and death, fighting to avoid being buried alive. I guess you could say she’s only mostly dead. Molina will play the funeral director who holds her post-mortem fate in his hands. Unlike Uma Thurman, it’s unlikely that Bosworth will be able to kung fu punch her way out of the ground.

This is Vosloo’s second film. His first, Pâté, was about an aristocratic family trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic environment.
