Monsters University Featurette Introduces Young Mike And Sully

There are two kinds of people in this world: those who want to know absolutely everything they can about a movie before walking into the theater, and those who try to keep themselves away from tiny details or big plot elements. If you belong in the latter group then you might want to turn away now, as director Dan Scanlon is about to explain a whole lotta things about Monsters University.

The Film Stage has picked up on a new featurette about the upcoming Pixar prequel, and while the video features a great deal of new footage from the movie, it also has the head filmmaker behind it explaining exactly how a great deal of the plot plays out. I will say that the footage does make the movie look charming, but you have to decide if it's worth potentially details that you don't want to know. Make your choice and choose your fate!

I am a big fan of Monsters Inc. and I'm very excited to see Mike and Sully back on the big screen together, but I can't shake this nervous feeling I have about the fact that it's a prequel. Perhaps it's the still lingering "never forget" feeling that I hadwalking out of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace...

Monsters University brings back Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi as stars and adds Dave Foley, Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray, and Peter Sohn to the lineup. The movie will be in theaters on June 21st and for more click HERE.
