More Chronicles Of Narnia Sequel Casting![]()
Yesterday we brought you the rumors swirling around about the possible casting of Prince Caspian in the next Chronicles of Narnia movie. Today we have a bit more minor role being filled.
Variety reports that actress Alicia Borrachero has been hired to play the role of Prunaprismia, wife of the film’s chief villain General Miraz. Miraz is the evil king the Pevense children find in charge when they return to Aslan’s land, but having read the books I can’t say I even remember him having a wife. I’m sure he did, but she apparently wasn’t important enough to the plot to be worth remembering. In other words, this is a pretty unimportant role. This incidentally might explain why they’ve hired Borrachero, who has mostly played bit roles in other films. Expect to see her in some vague birthing scene stuck in the middle of a montage for Adamson’s The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. |
