Morgan Freeman, everyone’s favorite voice of God, was seriously injured in a car accident last night in Mississippi. Variety says he was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis immediately after the 11:30 p.m. accident, and a spokesman for the hospital says he was in “serious condition.” Variety also notes, though, that the actor was talking before being taken to the hospital, which indicates more hope for a speedy recovery.TMZ is reporting that alcohol is not suspected to have been involved. A woman was in the car with Freeman, and she has not been identified nor has her condition been announced. We’ll keep you posted as more information emerges. Pretty much all anyone can do at this point is wish him well and pray for a fast recovery.
