Alright everyone. Let's sit down and make a list of really good franchise prequels. Ready? Go!

Revenge of the Sith…

Wait! I think Temple of Doom counts.

2! Beat that.

Hey here's some good news! They're making a Mortal Kombat prequel! That's right, Moviehole says it's in the works, and will star the villain of the previous films, Sub Zero as its hero.

Apparently the idea is to take a page out of the Scorpion King's playbook, because that worked so fantastically there, and have a bad guy return in a prequel as a good guy.

The bad news (aside from the fact that this movie is even being made or the fact that you're lame enough to actually be reading a Mortal Kombat news article) is that none of your favorite actors (sarcasm) from the previous movie, including the great Christopher Lambert, will be showing up; maybe not even Keith Cooke who played Sub Zero. Well, actually that's good news. They could always find someone who can act to play him. Wait, this is a prequel isn't it? Fat chance of that happening.

What's the over under on this being worse than Dumb and Dumberer? Make the prequels stop!

robin shou is a wonderful actor. he has talent way beyond his good looks. am his biggest fan here in the great State of Illinois in America. if he's ever in town, i hope i can meet him to get his autograph. many blessings to mr. shou in all his projects in the future and may his career continue to flourish and grow.

MORTAL KOMBAT PREQUEL.

Actor Robin Shou said that he is not returning as Liu kang in the third movie and the story is to focus on Sub Zero,this is all false and the script will be focus
with a plot following on MK Deception and Armageddon games.
If the producers want Shou back to rejoin the cast again then he will have to then it will get the cast back into the production again.
