Our plans for this year’s Oscar Chat got up and rolling last week with our big official announcement of Oscar Chat 6. Now the whole thing just got even awesomer.

This year, for the first time ever, CinemaBlend.com is partnering up with Moviehole.net to present the biggest, baddest possible Oscar chatting experience ever. WHERE:
Turn on your computer at the appointed time and click right on in to the CB Chatroom by clicking over to here or on one of the big Oscar Chat buttons that will appear all over the site on the Chat day. Feel free too bookmark it for maximum effect.

WHAT THE HECK IS IT: Simple. Cinema Blend and Moviehole readers and staff gather around in the all new, revamped and re-glossed Cinema Blend ,chatroom and watch the Oscars together. Actually, you don’t even have to watch the Oscars to be a part of it. I’m told by those who’ve participated with their TVs turned off that it’s actually better that way, since you don’t have to sit throughthe boring speeches. Either way, while the awards are happening, we chat about what's going on, what we're eating, and then vie for a place in the Oscar Chat hot tub. Ok, there's not really a hot tub (or is there?).
