Muggle Casts Bill Nighy in Deathly Hallows, Reveals New HP6 Clip It wouldn’t be much of an over exaggeration to say that the Harry Potter films have employed just about every English actor currently alive (and even some that are no longer with us). They would have to, though, considering that J.K. Rowling filled each one of her books with more characters than any film would ever be able to handle, forcing directors to cut many out with each new flick.

Added to that less than exclusive Actor-In-A-Harry-Potter-Film club is Bill Nighy, who, according to The Leaky Cauldron will take on the role of Rufus Scrimgeour in next year’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. For unaware muggles out there, Rufus Scrimgeour is, of course, the Minister of Magic. Filming for the movie started way back in February, so this casting choice comes a bit late into the production process but with director David Yates filming the movie in two parts, I’m sure he has plenty of time to pick parts.

This news comes hot on the heels of a brand new two-minute clip of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince being released on iTunes. You can check that clip out by . Now disapparate!
